My Dad entered the Navy in 1944. He had one year of engineering at Purdue University so the Navy enlisted him at E-4 and sent him for electronics training. After training he repaired and calibrated radar systems on Navy ships until the war ended.
My 55th is this summer also.
I will be working out of state so I'll miss it this year.
I've driven by the school recently and can hardly recognize the neighborhood.
I've had a CZ 75 for two years now. Accurate and reliable, but with a spongy trigger that took me getting used to.
A great gun, but not as great as my first true love, the Browning High Power.
I teach about 50-60 new shooters (beginners) each summer using S&W .22 revolvers.
I have both J-frames and K-frames , Mod 34,63,17 and 18.
Overwhelming favorite is the 4" Mod 63.
Second is the Mod 34.
Nobody likes the Mod 17 but the lighter Mod 18 does get some favorable comments.
