Same here, I shot Remington FMJ and they did better than the 165's.

I have a 40 M&P and it shoots near to point of aim better with 165- 180 grain weight bullets. Just curious does yours do as well with the heavier weight bullets? When I use 155 grain, anything it hits about 2 inches low@ 10 yards.

I installed my apex kit. I spent $102.00 with shipping. Is it worth it? Not sure? I test each component as I installed them. With the USB, hard sear installed, the trigger was lighter but a little mushy. I installed the sear spring and that felt the best out of each of these combination's, but...

I ordered the kit yesterday. Did you happen to test it in stages, as you were installing the individual pieces? I was thinking just using the sear and the USB kit, but keeping the stock trigger spring.

I have the forty and I love it, but if I were you, I might want to get something different. It's like the guys that have 10 1911's, once you seen one or two of them, the other eight seem boring.

If this was any other weapon I would hate it, BUT the work you done to it does go very well with the M&P platform. I wonder how long the paint will stay like that? Does it resist solvents very well and what kind of paint did you use?

Yes it is, but remember, NY has it worse and DC...handguns are non existent. But I am special, though...all my handguns have to be California approved, which means there better than all the other states handguns. Right? ;)
