    327 TRR8

I just picked my TRR8 last week need to get her out to the range and break her in but if she's as good as my pc627 I'll be a happy camper. To other TRR8 owners out there are your rear sights the standard square notch ones? I thought the TRR8 and M&P R8 both came with the V-notch rears. Mine has...

    My first

Very nice I especially love the stag grips. Nice to see other parts of the state still have good gunshows. Haven't been to one since they shut down the saxton one here in Austin and even then there weren't too many nice revolvers there.

    Shopping for my first revolver

For your first I'd say go for something in a medium size like the L frame 686 in 4-6" barrels any 686 through -4 nothing later. L frames are plentiful so cost wise it'll be cheaper since you'll have a good selection to chose from. Also 686 is stainless so it'll be easier to care for than it's...

    PC 1911's Ahhh, That's Better!

Very nice. For me too the blue kind of throws things off on the 5" the g10 actually look really nice I think it actually complements the lightning cuts in a way. Makes things look a little less cluttered.

    686-4 or GP-100

Another vote for 686 here. I have both a 686 and a gp100 each in different barrel lengths but as far as trigger goes the smith definitely takes it. If you plan on getting a trigger job done later down the road it'll probably be a moot point. I've herd gp100's can be easily user serviceable to...

    327 TRR8 M&P R8 differences?

Little new to the forums but from what I've read and observed -Both R8 and TRR8 have the same barrels. Read on another thread that the whole different rifling thing wasn't true. Something along the lines of it not being cost effective to make 2 different barrels for the same gun -Both appear...
