    New m&p owner.

The DCAEK is my best recommendation; that, and a set of Trijicon night sights. I run a G-Code holster on a HSGI war belt.

Help me decide which M&P to buy

The CORE is nice, but the Standard is more than sufficient. Plus, it is easier to carry and faster to point. Get a standard .40 and drop an Apex kit in it. Get a 9mm barrel and mags and you can shoot both 9 and 40.

Any known reason for an apparent shortage of Shields?

Most of the manufacturers only sell to dealers through a distributor like RSR, Sport South, or Chattanooga Shooting Supply. It takes time for product to move through these layers of distribution.

APEX VS stock trigger or non-issue

For me, there's just no comparing the stock to the Apex duty/carry. It transformed the gun for me. But perhaps the M&P is like my Glock in that the trigger smooths out past about 5,000 rounds. Either way, you will not regret an Apex.

    Apex Polymer Trigger Problem

Yeah, that polymer trigger was really designed to work with the entire FSS kit. The kit has a completely different sear than the one in the Competion or Duty/Carry kits. I learned that the hard way when I accidentally put the wrong sear in. The gun just locked up. I had to take out the firing...

    Finally.....Apex trigger install

I am looking forward to getting my Shield squared away; I pulled an Apex duty/carry kit out of inventory for personal use and have it waiting on a shield to come in. Can't wait! Thanks for the tip on using the original trigger spring. I will pass that on to my customers.

CORE 9L with new APEX Forward Set Trigger

That is a beautiful setup. The CORE is certainly on my list... already running the polymer FSS in my standard 9! How would you compare the CORE to the standard for high speed IPSIC type shooting?

    Apex trigger SD40VE review

I am running the Apex duty/carry in my M&P 40 and the FSS with a 3.5 pound spring in my 9mm. With both, I got a dremel and polished the trigger bar where it comes in contact with the plunger and the sear. Everything was already smoother for me before doing that, but that just made it better...

    APEX polymer vs aluminum trigger

I am loving my polymer FSS with the 3.5 pound spring option in my M&P 9mm. Light, fast, robust, and easier to install than the aluminum. It came with a 4.5 pound, too, if I ever wanted to convert to a more carry friendly setup.
