I think its an old 908 barrel I had ,It fit my 4040pd perfectly with the exception of the hood ,thinking about chamber to 357 sig ,just to see if it works

has anyone used a narrow hood barrel in a wide hood slide,just wandering if it would work

Thanks John, Im even thinking if I could find a barrel that will fit the hood and lug I cold machine a ring for the barrel to fit the existing bushing. what do you think ?,was even thinking if it was a longer barrel I could thread the end?

Have a 3913ls but carry 4040pd, same gun bigger hole both are great

looking for a barrel to fit a 3913 with the small tab on chamber

I have both and shoot the 40 better, dont know why and regardless the 40 really swings the steel plates alot harder

I tried 115 and 124 grain loads didn't seem to make much difference, I found a little taller rear sight in my parts box, will try that. thanks for the reply's

does anyone know what the shortest front sight that smith and wesson makes for the 3913 ive tried different weight bullets and it still shoots about six inches low at 7 yards my front sight measures .200. I have taller sights but not shorter thanks

about a year ago found a smith 10mm mag at a lgs for 10 bucks, went back a couple weeks later and found another, dont think that will happen again anytime soon

I removed the sights from my slide and sent it in and came back in a couple of weeks, they looked like brand new and loved the two different color lamps
