I just got a S&W 1911 a couple weeks ago. I cannot say enough good about this firearm. Honestly, I'm not as good of a shot as my 1911 allows me to be. I really like the feel of it in my hand (weight & size), and it's so precise I am not even thinking of adjusting the sights. Anyone else here...

I've tried watching YouTube instructional videos on shooting for accuracy. Stance, hand position, etc. are demonstrated. They do offer some good pointers, but I really need to have a go at it right after I'm shown something. I might find an instructor myself. I, too, am a noob, and I'm sure I am...
