FS: SOLD PENDING FUNDS Colt LW Commander .45 (Possible Trade)

Sold to Member carrots. I've decided that the 1911 just isn't for me, and am looking to sell my Series 70 Colt LW Commander. I've only shot around a box of shells through this gun, but since I'm not the original owner, I can't speak to it's full history. However, the gun is in fantastic...

    Jack First, Inc. gun parts???

Bought an extra extractor from them several months ago, but transaction and shipping went fine. Paid a pretty penny for the part, but if it’s ever needed, at least it will be there.

    Young Men and Behavior

I don’t know the answer, but I don’t believe forced military service is it.

    Young Men and Behavior

Yes, because no one has ever left the military with mental health issues caused by their service. Also, I’ve never met a veteran who developed alcoholism/drug issues because of combat experience. The military is a cure all for all….

Issues With New Smith and Wesson Victory

Thanks for the advice everyone. I found some time over lunch today to tweak the ejector and test fire. 40 rounds went through it seamlessly, so hopefully it's all set now. Thanks again!

Issues With New Smith and Wesson Victory

If this was a used gun, I’d absolutely bend that ejector myself. However, since I’m seeing now that this is a known issue, and since my life’s not depending on it at the moment, I’ll call S&W tomorrow and have them do it. Thanks for the help everyone.

Issues With New Smith and Wesson Victory

I did not clean it, just lubricated according to the manual instructions. Thanks for the advice.

Issues With New Smith and Wesson Victory

I got a few hours to hit the range this morning, and decided to break-in my new S&W Victory. The night after I got it, I took it apart and then lived it per the manual. This morning was nothing but frustration. Literally 6-7 rounds out of 10 got hung up either in the ejection port or inside of...

    Just About Had a Catastrophe

I did look up and refer to a schematic for one piece.

    Just About Had a Catastrophe

This morning I attempted to swap the sear release lever on my Model 39, and what an adventure. After taking things apart, I swear I had every piece out of that frame that could accidentally shake loose, and no idea of where to put them back. Regardless, after discovering that the sear release...
