I have about 3000 rounds through my mp40c with Apex kit and it's still perfect.

I've never heard of that trigger work ban in California. Do you have a reference for that?

Seeking Opinions onApex Trigger kit for Shield

I have two Shields in the house. One for my wife which has the original 6.5 lb trigger. This trigger is fine for everyday carry and shoots great. Second Shield is mine and has Apex trigger installed. Slightly lighter at about 5.5 lb trigger pull. Very smooth pull. Most people wouldn't...

    Proper Sight Picture?

My guess is that you are not focusing on the front site, but rather on your target. This can cause you to dip the front sight as you look over it to the target. When you begin high this makes up for it. Once you have alignment bring focus to front sight with target blurry. Your eye/brain...

Which to purchase for defense... Shield or performance??

I had a Shield that I bought for my wife and loved so decided to get my own. Read everything I could, videos etc...on the PC Shield. Ended up with regular Shield but installed Apex trigger and Trijicon HD sighs. I think this is a better setup. Trijicons are not cheap but great sight for day...

    New Sights ?

I think the Trijicon HD is the best sight out there. Great visibility for daytime and tritium for night. I like that he rear sight has small tritium dots for night time but are dark in lighted conditions. This allows me to easily pick up the front sight quickly. I don't like the Hi Viz rear...

    M&P9C or Glock 19?

Never a big fan of Glocks. Have MP40c and love it. For me it just feels better in my hand which leads to better shooting. And...it's made in the USA!

    New M&P Shield

I love the shield. Have been carrying Sig 938 for a couple of years. Bought my wife a Shield last Christmas and fell in love. Though it is a little bigger than the Sig i think it is the perfect size for conceal ability / shoot ability balance. I bought my own last week and ordered Apex...

    Dry Fire Best Practice?

I practice with dry firing every week. I do many trigger pulls up against the wall (1 inch or less) where I am "aiming" at a visible spot. Being this close I can see muzzle movement. Then I take an empty casing and balance on front site. I'll go until I can get ten or twenty in a row without...

    Christmas Joy

Thanks all. We have been looking for awhile now and she has handled 3 or 4 different guns. She likes the Shield the best, just doesn't yet know I got it for her. I currently carry a 40c or Sig 938. Though I love the 938 I'll likely replace it with my own Shield when funds allow. I don't...

    MP15t

Picked up a new MP15t today. Can't wait to get to the range with it. Also grabbed a Shield 9 for the wife as she will have her LTC in a week or so. Both great guns. Merry Christmas!

    Christmas Joy

So I went to pick up an MP15t today and ended up brining home a Shield 9 as well for my wife. Nice gun, have not brought to range yet but it feels great in hand. Merry Christmas!

    Practical accuracy and time?

With a OWB holster a good first shot, from holster, should be 1.5 or below. Follow up shots should be .2 to .3 per shot. Depending on the concealment holster this may be tough.

    NH Gunsmith recommendations?

If you are willing to drive there is a shop near me, south of Boston that would likely do it same day. I had Apex kit put in, along with new sights. Work was done same day and he only charged me 50. I recently had sights put on another gun and he also did same day. He is a retired Navy Chief...
