Thanks for the info. Purchase, shipping and FFL transfer came to $489 on mine. It's obviously been carried some, but looks like it will be a great shooter. Not an amazing deal, I know, but still almost $100 cheaper than a new one with the internal lock.

I have an M&P340 with CT Lasergrips. Great carry gun, brutal practice gun even with .38spl ammo. Makes my hand sore after 10-12 rounds of WWB. Just ordered a new used 640 for a practice gun and secondary carry. You will love the 340.

I can't speak for the Glock or MP, but that incorrect regarding the XD. The striker on the XD is cocked by the cycling of the slide, not by pulling the trigger.
