    a little splash of red

I feel the same way. I've been shopping around for another 9c to match mine and the only ones I've found locally have color-filled lettering. It's a deal breaker for me.

Would you purchase an M&P even smaller than the M&Pc? Possibly single stack?

I would be all over a single stack 9mm if they'd make it about the same size as the Kahr PM/CM9 or Ruger LC9. There are times that the CM9 is just more comfortable to carry and easier to conceal than the 9c.

    M&P 40 sights???

I had a set on a 1911 several years ago and liked them them for quick close shots, but the dot can cover a large part of the target if you're shooting at something small or far away. I wouldn't hesitate to run them again though, and almost ordered a set instead of the I-Dot Pros.

    M&P 40 sights???

I just ordered a set of Ameriglo I-Dot Pro sights for my 9c. They should be here next week along with my new sight pusher. I had looked at the Tru-Glo TFO's, but they get mixed reviews. I've read alot of posts regarding the fiber optic tubes falling out and a bunch more about the poor quality...

Hints of new M&Ps pistols coming...

The dealer I bought my M&P9c from routinely lists the 9/40 M&Ps for $399.98, and these are the "LE/First Responder" packages with three mags. When I asked about his prices compared to the other local dealers who are still listing them for $569+, he said S&W had a major price shift quite a while...

best owb holster for concealment .. m&p40c

"Small Of Back" holsters are frowned on in many circles due to the increased possibility of spinal damage when/if the wearer falls backwards, and the fact that many people have a tendency to "sweep" their own body with the muzzle when drawing from that position. They're also (imho, anyway)...

    best 40 holster

I'm carrying my 9c in a DeSantis Intruder that I picked up on eBay for less than $45 shipped.

Hints of new M&Ps pistols coming...

If I could get an ultra-compact single stack M&P9, I'd sell my Kahr CM9 in a heartbeat.

    M&P 9mm Speed loader suggestions ???

The Uplula should always be bought in pairs. As soon as your friends use yours at the range, you'll be down to one. ;)

    Sherpa holster question

Personally, I'd pass on the Serpa and find a Safariland 6378 with the ALS instead. It's (imho) a much more natural motion to disengage the retention, forces your hand into a high grip position, and helps to keep your trigger finger away from the trigger when drawing. Full size M&P40...

    Advice on M&P 9mm compact

I appreciate the offer, but I'm just going to pick up another mag the next time I'm at my local dealer. They cater primarily to LE and generally have a pretty good selection of mags in stock for the guns they carry.

    Advice on M&P 9mm compact

Mine came with one flat and two with the pinky extension, but I really would've preferred it the other way - one pinky ext. and two flat. The flat ones just conceal better for me. I thought about calling S&W and trying to buy a couple flat baseplates, but I think I'll just buy another mag with...

    Advice on M&P 9mm compact

There's also an LE/first responder package that comes with three mags - one flat and two with the pinky extension.

    M&P 9C or 40C ?

I'm a civilian. It's my understanding that S&W doesn't restrict the sales of their LE/responder packages like some other manufacturers do glock. They may restrict which dealers are able to get the packages, though.

    M&P 9C or 40C ?

If you don't mind paying for shipping, Dana Safety Supply in Sugar Hill, GA has the 9c "first responder" package for $399.88 + tax, and they sell to civilians. I just picked one up on Friday (2/3) and it set me back a hair under $424 out the door. Go here and click on their profile to get their...
