    IDPA revolver question

A couple of guys locally have shot their 29s in the past few months. They work fine with the lightest loads that are accurate. Not as fast as a K or L frame shooting 38s, but they win on cool factor just showing up!!

What guns do you carry the most?

I carry a 638 with Crimson Trace grips more often than the others combined. I have a 3" 60 that I carry occasionally, especially for walks in the country. An inside the waist holster that allows me to carry a 1911, but I seldom do. I have a shoulder holster for a Makarov, but have seldom...

SCOTUS extends RTKBA to all 50 states!

"Kicker here for me is that each of these could be the appointed lib who turns conservative. We're long overdue for one of those." This is a good point, we are due a "surprisingly good" Judge. Perhaps Scalia can charm our newest Judge to be???

Who should we contact to oppose Kagen?

Yes, your Senators, might even help as you are from S. Carolina. I'm from Pa and my two Senators are locked in. Although, with Spectre having lost the Democratic nomination....maybe he is worth e-mailing???

We got to meet Tara from TOP SHOT last night!

Sounds like a great evening, I hope your daughter gained a lot from the experience. I have been a bit disappointed by the show, but believe it is a great plus for firearms exposure on the whole. I have a problem with the Reality Show" aspects, but I suppose that is easily offset by the...

The Rossi Ranch Hand Win. 92 Handgun

I read that article with some misgiving. It appears that they are making Marlin 336s? Also, the price of the ranch hand seemed a bit high, but I thought that would be pretty cool with a regular rifle stock and the short barrel. Can't see any useful purpose for the "handgun" version, but as a...

Go see "Knight & Day" -- a great action flick!

Knight and Day This thread has drifted sufficiently for me to not feel bad about commenting on movies in general. I have found that I rarely enjoy films anymore. This is quite a change, in 1975-77 I probably averaged 45 films a year enjoying the great majority. Today I haven't been to the...

SCOTUS extends RTKBA to all 50 states!

Scotus A great day, now for the rest of the campaign to finally get the Gov't to protect our right to keep and bear arms, as intended by the constitution.

    Crimping 223?

This is a bit of drift, however it is about cannelures and .223. I purchased two different 55. gr. FMJ bullets last year and one had a significantly wider cannelure ;than the other like 50% perhaps. At first I didn't know why, but one thing I discovered was that I needn't be too concerned with...

    .30 M1 Carbine ammo remanufacture?

M1 carbine what bullets I just bought an M carbine and will soon be reloading. What bullets are best for self defense use? I am assuming a 110 gr. soft or hollow point?

What Did You Reload Most Recently?

Working on two projects: 180 Gr LFP GC .357 load for hunting Pigs and Deer out of a Marlin 1894. So far using 296 and it has been a bit disappointing, as i don't have Mag SP primers am going to try SR. 69 gr Sie. HPBT MK over Varget. I Need a good accuracy load for my AR and a Savage bolt...

Guns you own, but haven't shot yet !!

I have no guns I haven't shot. That includes the .32 rim fire, Flobet, was just going to hang it on the wall, but even at nearly $50 a box, I just couldn't resist taking a few shots (not very impressive, but it works).

Why is the Afgan war OK with the left?

I believe Cindy Sheehan (sp?) is planning on dropping by to protest while he is on Maratha's Vineyard. One doubts that this will get the same kind of wall to wall coverage her trips to Crawford garnered, but we shall see how the Media spins it. Cindy was a tool of the Democrats, but seems to...

New Classic 29 offerred by S&W... Integrated Lock ?

OK does anyone have any facts on revolver sales pre and post locks? Does Smith sell at least as many revolvers as they did before the dread lock appeared?

    Pair of .44s

Another cure for that .44 finger would be to sell that gun to me at a nice $50 profit!!! Congratulations, a great find, sure wish we had pawn shops around here.
