The 40 is a great round and very accurate. For me, the problem was that they stuffed the 40 into small frame , 9mm pistols and I generally find them very unpleasant to shoot. The 10mm is built on a proper size frame / gun and the guns balance and handle much better. I always thought a single...
All my revolvers have bobbed hammers and I have fired tens of thousands of rounds with them in IDPA / USPSA. I have them set up so they run with any primer (the only excepting being some stone age CCI’s I’ve had for more than a decade, I has issues with those in my M9A1 as well). My 686SSR has...
Earlier this year I purchased a 3" python…. after about 100 rounds it had to back to Colt as the trigger would not return after firing. 12 weeks later the gun arrived…. it fired but then I discovered that the screw to remove the front sight was stripped. I decided to cut my losses and sell it...
I have owned both versions (adj rear sight / fixed rear sight) and they are fantastic shooters. I put S&A magwells on both as well as VZ grips and shot thousands of rounds through them for USPSA / IDPA. I never had an issue that wasn’t my fault. Accurate, solid guns. I would buy another in a...

Glock is to the 21st century what the 1911 was to the 20th. I’m not a Glock fan but you have to be honest, they work, they are robust, easy to work on, can find parts at darn near every gas station and there are TONS of aftermarket support for them.
I wish the Army would go with the M&P but the...
… and they said the channeled the exhaust gas AWAY from the opting mounting area. I love my OR 2.0 but the optic gets dirty pretty quick. This change alone would make me take a closer look.
I'm 56 and I have a deep appreciation for the history of the older revolvers but I have no real interest in owning any since I don't consider myself to be a collector. The "new" guns may have some teething issues that need to be addressed but they run with modern ammo and I don't feel bad taking...
