    8# of Bullseye happiness!

TazTJ: I had a lot of trouble with .38 loads using Winchester primers. I tried another box of them and have had no trouble since. I posted something about this so the details are here. It seemed to be that lot of 1000 primers I bought. It was fun unloading 300 rounds, not. They worked fine in...

    Bayou BNWC 138 gm

I recieved a box of Bayou coated wadcutters and of course I can't find much on loads for .357 and .38. I have Alliant #7 and 2400 powder plus Bullseye for the .38. Anybody use any of this? Around here you get what powder is available (usually for a few hours only if it's pistol).

    First Squib

I had a squib from a factory cartridge. I also have a bad case of Remington primers that wouldn't fire the Bullseye in .38, worked okay in 9mm. Sent some reloads to them and, of course, they found nothing wrong. 3,000 .38's loaded and fired prior to this batch, no problems. Subsequent batches...

    Squib Behavior & Protocol

Well, I must be the squib champion of the world. I've had around 7. One was a factory load and the rest I tried to get Remington to admit their primers were faulty. They wouldn't, of course. It was one case of 1000 primers that worked fine with 9mm (case mostly filled with powder) but failed at...

Went for dog food, came back with a 19-5...

I went for an o-ring for a chain saw fuel tank and came back with a chipper/shredder. $1.50 for the o-ring, $1300 for the chipper.

    Conceal carry shirts question

Ask them if they would like to help you change it. Don't do that with college students, they don't even know where they are.

    Wright Leather Works holster review...

I own a cobra hybrid, a cross draw holster for a 9mm and a predator for a 686. I cleaned out my holster drawer after getting them.

    686 plus

I use a Wright Leather Works Predator. They don't list the 2 1/2" but you put it in the instructions. I own two more of their holsters for another pistol.

    Model 669 10 Round Mags

I am in need of two 10 round mags for the 669. Being in comifornia, they want to confiscate the 12 rounds I have. Will swap, or buy.

    Holster recommendation for 686SSR?

I'm kind of fond of Wright Leather Works. I have three of them.

Couple of Primers Didn't Ignite First Time-**UPDATE**

I had this problem on a newer 686 and found the tension screw on the hammer spring backed out. Learned about that on this forum somewhere. Locktite stopped that problem.

    X-Treme

I had no problem calling them, they said they were swamped, of course. I didn't receive a tracking number but got an alert on my cell phone that it would be delivered yesterday. I ordered them on the 11th. Usually only takes 3 days, took 4.

    Squib Loads

I too experienced squib loads in .38s. I loaded about 300 and a few hundred 9mm with the same primers. The 9mm all fired, about 8 .38's did not. The 1000 primers were all discolored and I blame them. The 9s pack the powder more than the 38s so I had no problem with them. I sent some reloads off...

    stupid moon clip question

Yep, it was backed out. Tightened and applied blue locktite. I had some screw problems on my Ruger too. Fixed it the same way. Back to the range.
