This trigger looks just like the one on my 66-1. It is lighter. Having a side by side comparison makes it obvious. I was hoping it was a common gun smithing option that I could have done to my 66-1 also.
Is it possible a lot of shots fired would wear the trigger to make it lighter? The 66 nd...
The serrations are still on the trigger. The box indicates a target trigger. Did I read correctly that a target trigger does not affect the trigger pull weight?
Anyone know what this note is referring too? Its hard to read, either says "smoothed over" or "smooth down" by Indiana law enforcement academy.
The trigger on this gun is noticeably lighter than my other m66-1.
Put few cylinders of 38s and just a cylinder of 357s down range. What a sweet shooter. I'm going to need a lot more practice with double action. However the single action... chef's kiss
Finally got around to cleaning it. Not sure what was inside the barrel but it had not been cleaned in maybe a decade. Brushed it right out. Now she's ready for a few rounds.
Thanks for the tip onomea. This really made a deep clean easy. I'm new to stainless and helpful tips like this and hair trigger's specific oil placement tips are why I joined the forum.

Here is a 686 no dash s#aafxxxx that appears to be factory fired only. Curious as to what you all think. And what kind of value would you put on it. Has matching number box and even the tool set in a never opened bag. Thanks
Here is a new to me model 60 2" in 38spl. I'm not having much luck searching on how to date it, other than its pinned. Im still learning a lot on here. Ser# R21xxxx Grampa said some of his guns had not been fired. What you all think, has this one been fired?
This made me realize I had made an assumption... it came from a retired Sheriff's deputy so i assumed it was issued. Turns out as charlie sherrill stated not all carried guns where issued. I found out that this sherrifs depart did not issue weapons during any of his service.
