    CCW Poll

When I had my 910 it served as a pretty decent carry gun

    Who makes S&W magazines?

My SW99 LE hicaps are mecgar mags, I had read somewhere that mecgar makes alot of factory mags for certain companies, until I bought my SW99 I didn't know they did this for S&W... great mags tho, I had some for my taurus pt92 and they functioned flawlessly, mecgar is good stuff.

    I need a 20 rd mag for a .40 SW99

Stay away from Promag magazines, they are junk, they make alot of hicap mags for alot of different guns, and for alot of gun makers they offer the only aftermarket hicaps available... meggar makes GREAT aftermarket mags and I think they make hicaps for certain models but anything Promag is just...

I got my SW99 in .40 for around $350 on gunbroker with all accessories and 3 LE mags, but this post is ancient anyways :P

Newbie here, just bought a SW99

I just picked mine up off of gunbroker for around $350, love the gun, my first .40 as I have shot just about everything else but this caliber, fits great in the hand and came with all of the accessories and 3 LE mags, I am very happy with this gun.

    Barrel in 357SIG for P99 in 40...

Not a bad idea, I just picked up a SW99 in .40, maybe ill look around, it would be nice to be able to shoot both calibers.

Where are these SW99s coming from?

I saw an auction on gunbroker just before I bought my SW99 with one stamped "CHPD" which is a LE agency in southern California... mine was LE but there were no stampings of such on mine, it has the holster wear and everything too, the LE mags, trijicon sights, etc. I'd love to know where mine...

    Looking for ccw carriers

I own several handguns and carry all in different situations, from my .45 to my .22, nobody has called me on it yet but I guess I would laugh and start up a conversation because I have a sense of humor about things like that. I've been able to pick a couple out, including an off-duty cop getting...

    GLOCK COPIES M&P

I just saw a pic of that new glock today in a magazine, not too sure if that new replaceable backstrap will sell, I love my glock and personally they should stick to their guns (no pun intended) and do away with frilly add-ons. The design just doesn't look good now. I love my SW99 for having its...

Is the .45 GAP round dead?

I always knew .45 GAP wouldn't get off the ground that well. It tried fixing something that really didn't need fixing. Better stopping power will generally come in a bigger package, and trying to scale that package down will only result in disappointment in most cases. 10mm to .40 cal was one of...

    S&W 99

I just picked mine up for around $350 on gunbroker this past week, is in pretty good shape for being a duty pistol, I can't wait to get it to the range. My second S&W semiauto.

    Need some advice.

I agree, you can't go wrong with a glock, especially a .40. My model 21 .45ACP I carried as a duty pistol for security for 3 years, have owned it for 6, never had a problem and always goes BANG when you pull the trigger. And you can find used duty rigs for glocks on ebay for pretty good prices...

    sw99 as 40 cal

Actually, the glock .357 sig mags and .40 cal mags are the same exact mag but with different stampings, all you need is the .357 sig barrel and either mag and you're fine; as most know, .357 sig is a .40 cal necked down to a 9mm, and size of the main body of both casings are identical, hence...
