so i made it to the range and tried out my new and first gun. it was very hard to get a 16th round in. i mostly shot at about 10 yards, with one clip at 30 yards. the trigger was firm, and i think i shot low and to the right in part because of it. overall i was pleased, the gun operated...

my probably dumb question is, is dry firing safe with striker style pistols? i had always heard dry firing would damage a weapon. i have concerns with the sd9ve trigger as my trigger fingers first joint is nonfunctional.

my buying power has NOT increased for me. my first job in the mid 90's paid 5/hr. i worked for a phone tech support subcontractor for a major PC company at 12/hr with no raises for the last 6 years till the contract went back over seas. just started a new job at 13.75 that looks promising...

hi. i'm about to purchase my first firearm. i had planned on getting a ruger p95 9mm, but they are very hard to find. research lead me to the sd9ve at the local academy for 319... hard to beat the price. i will be looking at a eaa k2p 9mm at 420 tomorrow, but i think the sd has me convinced...
