I have bought on line and local. I know a lot of people get killed with the ffl fees but i have a local pawn shop i use that charges $10 so it almost always worth it for me since the tax saving normally make up for shipping and the better gun price. I am in texas so the 8+% sales tax get pricy.

I have the same bipod on mine and it works just fine. I could not spend the money on something heavy duty for the mp 15-22 I have the same one as breechloader on my 223 which need a bit more of a stable base. I am killing paper target so i dont need something real heavy on the 15-22

i have my nc start 3-9 scope set at 50 yards more or less since i can always get on the 50 yard range verses waiting around to the 100.

i have had the ncstar mark iii for about 6 months now and i works real nice for the 50 yard range i shoot the mp 15-22. I have not seen it lose zero at all so maybe it has been fixed. i feed mine a regular diet of the federal bulk pack ammo at wally world and it seems to run smooth in the 15-22's and yes you need at least 2 mags if not more to save some reloading time

i would buy the regular version. You dont need all the magpul stuff on a 22lr. I have my 15-22 and it is a stock version. I have mag stuff all over the 223 ar but i came that way. Save cash for a red dot or scope and enjoy it
