I don't know if you will notice the difference in recoil. That's very subjective. The bore axis will rise by the thickness of the switch.
I use only the 12 round mag and I don't think the Armalaser would deny me a full-handed grip. Yep, only you can make the trade-off between utility of the...
Yes, I agree with this. I do use a green laser on some of my full size Glock clone pistols that have a pic rail. However, I've just realized that the Armalaser has an activation switch that sits at the junction of the grip and the trigger guard. Unfortunately, that raises the effective bore...
It is notable that the BG2.0 weighs less and is narrower than the LPC (and the P365). But from a practical point of view, the most important difference is that the grip on the BG 2.0 is usable. You can get your full hand on with the 12 round mag and many people can even get their little finger...
Here is a direct video comparison between the LCPMax and the BG 2.0 No, I don't think the BG2.0 is bigger. It looks much larger than it is but if you hold it, you will be amazed at how tiny it is.
I'm using Xtreme Penetrator exactly as you suggest. First round only. And it's too expensive to do a proper test of how it feeds. I have shot just enough to verify it's reliable as a chambered round, that it extracts properly, and can cycle the action of the pistol, feeding the next round.
Just FYI on the Federal HST, here is a gel test from 3 years ago. First he measures velocity with a 980 FPS average. Here he shoots the 99gr bullet from an M&P EZ Shield with a 3.5 inch barrel into gel. Good expansion with 10.5 inch penetration. This is an FBI equivalent test with 4 layers...
It would help to know what type of feeding issues you experienced. Was it failure to feed into the chamber, failure to extract, stovepiping, or some issue with the magazine or slide? I carry with Underwood Xtreme Penetrator as the chambered round but I don't have any in the magazine due to...
Have you thought about what you will do for a holster if you have an Armalaser attached? I have Holosun lasers on my Glock pistols but they require a different holster.
His complaints in the video have to do with accuracy in shooting at longer range. That is one problem that has not been fixed in the BG2.0 or the BG2.0 comp version. If you decide you want to adjust the sights, I would suggest you try the front sight which is much easier. Or take it to a...
The most serious problems that existed at introduction seem to have been fixed. If you want to shoot at distances more than 7 yards with accuracy, you may have to adjust the sights. Check the pistol out in the LGS before you buy it to make sure there is nothing wrong with that specific gun...
I hate replying to my own post, but in this case it seems reasonable. We were discussing the covert or pre-stage draw where you have your hand on the pistol but this is not obvious to the bad guy. This works very well with a Bodyguard 2.0 carried in the pocket. Massad Ayoob discusses the...
I'm VERY impressed with your innovation and craftsmanship. No reason why we should settle for what some designer thought was best for us when we can change it. Nicely done!
An admiring right hander.
I understand completely. I'm used to working on Glocks and I was surprised that the frame disassembly of the BG2.0 did not seem so bad. But I would not try breaking down the BG2.0 slide unless I had the same kind of video to guide me. Any procedure on the slide must start with removing the...
