Hi all, Irecently broke the hammer firing pin on my second model da .38. I purchased a marlin hammer and it works in double action only. I believe hammers from 1st to fourth models work but I am unsure. Also anybody have any luck brazing the firing pin tip back on these? Thanks

Update. amazon springs work perfect. Uxcell 3mm od wire size 0.2 mm 10 mm length. Had to cut a few coils for length. They are 6 bucks for 5 of them. Hope this helps

Weii, as luck would have it, I dropped the damn spring, Its gone. I can tell you its weaker than a pen spring. I ordered a spring assortment on amazon and I will update as soon as I can find one that works.I believe it was aprox ten coils very small wire diameter.
