They are going for crazy money on Gunbroker, one just went for a little over $1000 the other day......advertised as new-never fired.

I don't think its an unreasonable price given the condition described. Maybe a tad high but if you like it I don't think you are getting ripped off.

I agree with 18DAI, if it's a nice 645 I'd jump on it. Like he said nice ones are getting hard to find. Love shooting both but the 645 gets to the range more often with me......just a great shooting .45!

Thanks for the heads up! I will get some better pics up and a range report when I get a chance. Still debating on shooting the Recon or keeping it unfired for the time being. The SFF is definitely getting to the range ASAP.

I'm in, just had mine crack on me recently and nice factory replacements are hard to come by.

I bought them both. Just picked them up today. Was going to buy the SFF and decided to blow my gun budget for the year and got them both.. I'm glad I did. I am pretty sure the Recon is unfired. The SFF has been but not much, it looks new as well. Both came with all the paperwork, boxes...
