    Shield X

I dont know if or how it works but it's been part of their marketing.

The SP Carry Comp said this, too.

    Shield X

Just showed up on my YouTube Looks like a Shield Plus with redesigned and extended grip so that there is now a 13 and 15 round option only. 3.6" barrel. Plus a rail. https://www.smith-wesson.com/products/shield-x https://www.guns.com/news/2025/07/28/smith-wesson-new-mp-shield-x...

    M&P 22 Magnum - An Answer to Nobody's Question?

God help your ears shooting that thing inside. My Colt Frontier is my loudest weapon next to my SMLE when it has the magnum cylinder, plus it shoots an impressive fireball out of the barrel.

Recommendations for a Shield Plus IWB?

I carry lefty so I wouldn't have that problem. I have never changed a mag release, I think hitting it not with your thumb is objectively better.

Bodyguard 2.0: Never had a new pistol with so many issues!

It's striker-fired, it doesn't need a safety unless you carry it bare in your pocket (which you shouln't do anyway). That said, if the safety doesn't function, send it back for re-work. Pretty much every new compact pistol is hard to get the last round in the mag, plus hard to insert such a...

    Apex Barrel questions.

Do you get bad groups off a sandbag? It's likely the gun is more accurate than you are. These things are also easier to diagnose with a dot since it gives you a better idea how much the gun is moving.

Need Parts advice and suggestions for IDPA Carry Optics pistol

I recommend you find the latest Ben Stoeger video on YouTube, it's him & Joel Park. Their basic advice is not to throw parts at a gun until it's solving a problem you have with it and only once you understand the gun enough to be able to tell what it does. Different people want their guns to...

    Bodyguard 2.0 with safety

No one has mentioned this yet: A small pistol is harder to shoot than a large pistol. Pistols are flat out hard to shoot accurately under stress. Cops fire off entire mags without hitting anything. Don't think you will be different. Smaller pistols (especially with iron sights) have a...

    Optic Cut is Canted Forward

I guess if their specs are bad they produce bad parts. This bugs the crap out of me as a former manufacturing manager. Sending it to them at least makes them see the problems their bad specs create.

    Optic Cut is Canted Forward

send it back and make them fix it or give you a new slide. Either mine did not have this problem or there was enough play in my optic to account for it.

Advice on my Shield Plus Performance Center trigger

I would send it back for rework before dropping money into it. Mine is smooth and crisp, excellent for a striker pistol.

Why are people more cautious carrying a chambered bodyguard 2.0?

All I earned in this thread is that people insist on carrying in a pocket without a holster despite all reccos against doing so. Buy holsters, people.

How many who went to a red dot increase their HG accuracy by a minimum of 50% or more first shots

Too many abbreviations, but anything that makes you shoot better is a good thing. At this point it's absolutely proven as good tech. Avoiding it is just avoiding change to spite yourself. You can see the sights through mine if it quits working.
