What would cause a revolver to

So, kind of the same thing happened again with this same gun. I just got it back from CS at S&W, had a "PC Tune Up, Clean and Oil" service done to the tune of $60 after the "PC Firearm Estimate and Range Test" to the tune of $45. I asked the guy on the phone if it was like with a car making a...

    Valuation/age check

Well, they have arrived! I realize that the M&P belongs in the other forum, but I figured I'd stick with the thread that I created. I honestly couldn't remember which of the two I shot more as a youngster, but when I picked up the Model 17 at my LGS/FFL, something deep in my memory bank sent a...

For those who care, The Yankee Marshall (Youtube) just got one. Can't wait to hear about his first range trip.

    Newly announced J frame. 360

I'm conflicted. The traditionalist in me says FDE on a revolver? Thats like putting a pig on lipstick. The deeply repressed tactitard in me says *must* *have*.

Made the mistake of ordering a brand new Performance Center 627

Btw, I just called customer service about my 627 which I sent in in 6/15. The very pleasant young man very pleasantly told me that the gun is being worked on, but he also very pleasantly told me that the factory shuts down for the last week of July and first week of August. He then very...

    Valuation/age check

Yes, I agree, which is why I want to be sure that I make a fair offer. In this case money is not so much a concern. Since there have been no other opinions expressed, I will assume the top end of these valuations is fair. Will keep you posted!

    Valuation/age check

Thank you, gentlemen. These aren't mine yet. They still belong to the family of the man that used to own them. He was an early mentor of mine, a WWII flight surgeon, and a fine example of the greatest generation. I'm sure it probably does say "17-2" as you suggest; I will double check with the...

    Valuation/age check

Hello all, I have recently tracked down the two revolvers that I learned to shoot with. They are (I believe) a model 10 and a model 17. Here are the only pics I have. I am working on gettingg better pics. Based on these, would anybody be willing to give a ball park estimate of value? Also the...

NM, see you already shipped it. Seeing this makes me wish I had looked over my revolver even more. :(

    Where is the quality control......

Just got home from picking up my 627, a gun that I have been thinking about purchasing for about 18 months. My carry gun (386) needs to go back to the factory for work, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to purchase the 627 and see if I am happy carrying a heavier gun. This is...

    Remora Tuckable IWB holster?

Have one for LCP and LC9, prefer the non-reinforced top version. Both stay put in athletic shorts with elastic waistband. Also, tey have all kinds of sales all the time, so search online for a discount code. You should never have to pay full price for a Remora.

Show us your Scandium framed revolvers

386PD and 340PD. Looking for a 327PD (PM me if you know of one), and will eventually get the 327 PC snubbie as well. I bleed every time I shoot these things (642 as well), but I love them.
