I love my 4506 I just wish there were more off duty holster options out there it's hard to find very many makers who offer them. Ca1942 welcome to the forum I thought LAPD's issue pistol was the Glock 22 40 caliber?

I believe KSP were looking to replace their S&W 1076s and were already to transition when it was decided to go to the Glock in 40 caliber. I believe they had already took delivery of the 4566s and none were ever issued. I think they sold them off to pay for the Glocks.

Also sent an email to Talo, they answered very quick said S&W said they would consider it but the 1911 production is top priority at the present!
