4506 Range Trip

Took the 4506 to the range this morning. I have been
struggeling with a bad flinch of late with anything that shoots
a 230 grain bullet. I was getting a nice group but that
group was around 9 o'clock. I shot pretty well today (for me)
and wanted to share. 3 flinches at the bottom - and I knew
it the second I pulled the trigger.

My 4506 shot like a dream. When I do my part the gun is
super accurate. 100 trouble free rounds today.

So shooters - let me ask. What's better. A ragged hole
a little off the bull or more center mass type shots?

Attached is todays best @ 11 yards, indoor, offhand.

If you can shoot tight groups, the sights can be moved to accomodate point of aim. MUCH more important that you can group with the thing, and then set the sights up for hitting where you point it.

That's some darn good shooting, especially considering the flinch!
Tell you what you might try, insert an empty casing somewhere in the mag while your shooting. Don't worry even money says the 4506 will feed it! And shoot your normal string of fire, when the empty gets in the chamber and you pull the trigger watch too see if you've flinched or your sites have moved.
Also try some 185gr loads, they have lighter recoil. And concentrate on your front sight and a smooth steady squeeze of the trigger, The shot should come as a surprise. Dale
