I have the Galco Miami classic for my Sig P229 and my 5906 fits it perfectly. It is a vertical carry which is more concealable than the horizontal. It is great to have one holster that will allow you to carry different guns. Saves money.

I personally wouldn't even consider a repair or rebuild. I just bought a new set of Meprolight on eBay for $83 with free shipping and installed them myself on my 5906.

Went today. About 35 through the Beretta 92, about 45 through my S&W 5906, 15 through the M&P 40 FS and 30 through my Sig M400 AR15. Kind of cold out so round count was about 1\2 what I usually do. Still a fun day.

So where is the problem..I don't see a problem. It's why I don't go to gun shows anymore and only to the gun store when I need a pick me up. But usually walk out more depressed. It's a terrible sickness.

I have a 5906. I like the looks of the pinky rest on the bottom of the 6906 magazine. Will the 6906 magazine fit the 5906 or even better is the bottom floor plate interchangeable. They may be available and would be cheaper to change than buying a new magazine. Thanks

I bought both recoil spring and guide rod directly from S&W. the guide rod was of a new design and back ordered. Took about 6 weeks to get It but it works great.

I sure wouldn't do that to my M&P 40 FS but darn that does look good! Nice job.

FS could be fixed sights but this guns front sight is a removable dove tail sight and the rear is adjustable windage and elevation is adjustable on just certain models. I guess this one elevation is not an option. Going to buy it. I just can't find anything on S&W web sight to clarify this. I...
