Thank you Ed, seems like the 2 or 3 gun cases are out of stock. I built mine from 3/4 birch plywood, 3 shelves and space for scope. Do not need all this space ad weight. I will keep looking at these sites when a 2 gun box is available.

Can someone recommend a pistol box and place to purchase. I constructed mine over 30 years ago and it weighs too much to carry comfortably. I see some cases made from aluminum. This w/b a range case holding a spotting scope on the flip lid like the "old" Pacmyer cases. Thank you, Tom N.

Thanks, but the rear sight is ok, it is the front sight that is not high enough. The rear sight is as low as it will go. the front sight needs to be higher.

Purchased a new 10 shot model 617, (22 cal.)The gun shoots 5inches high at 25 yards from sandbags. I contacted S&W who told me to take it to a gunsmith for an aftermarket front sight. I know it needs a higher front sight. My friend was shooting a new Kimber (45 cal.) and his was shooting 8...

Colt Pythons Around 1976, two gents were shooting at a state range. One had the Python and the other gent the S&W Model 19, both six inch. I asked to hoist each gun. Bought a 19. I did purchase 2 Pythons, one in 2009 and one in 2010. Just had to get it out of my system.

Update I did change it to a left hand safety. Had to have the hammer down to accomplish the change. Thank you for the input.
