I took some more pictures of the slide.

Its not in nib but it's hard to get a good picture of it. There are a few marks on it and the grips are a bit worn. I worked as a armored car guard for three years and carried it on duty.

Model 39 What would be a rough idea of what it is worth?

I have a Smith and Wesson model 39 9mm semiauto pistol. The serial number is 84xxx. I would like to find out when it was made and if it is one of the first series made.

There are three spots on the cylinder that are slightly different. I got one to show in a photo. The other two are similar on the back edge of the cylinder. Would it be to my advantage to have just the cylinder reblued or to just leave it alone?

Any idea what it would be worth?
