-3 model 1967-1977. And yes +P are fine. I saw one today but the finish was toast.

Welcome to the forum. That's a very nice 15. I wish mine looked so good. It will happily digest thousands of +P if you can afford them.

Could go to $600/650. Avg. is c. $500/550 in really good condition. Condition is everything. Yours looks very good. I have to confess that I paid $700 recently for one that is almost perfect. Unfortunately, no box or accessories was with it but it really is clean....

There are three spots on the cylinder that are slightly different. I got one to show in a photo. The other two are similar on the back edge of the cylinder. Would it be to my advantage to have just the cylinder reblued or to just leave it alone?

+P

They built 357 Mag K-Frames. I own several and have shot reasonable Magnum rounds by the thousands with no problems. I think judicious loading of +P ammo will never harm this gun.
I had a 15 Combat Masterpiece that I wore the barrel out . Well over 20,000 rounds fired and it still locked up like a vault. Most were +P 110-125 gr.
loaded hot. In the end it still shot HBWC good but that was about it. Should've kept it and had it rebarreled. Reload saftley and keep her clean.

I personally would not have it re-blued for that. The cylinder may not match the rest of the gun when done. Sure might stand out worse than what you have now. Also, the expense. Bob
