Thanks for the responses. I am pretty thorough with cleaning, but do not go beyond normal field stripping. Any recommended ways for cleaning the disconnector. Documents with previous repairs mentioned the disconnector was replaced. Could a gunk build up damage the disconnector?

I purchased a new 686+ (seven rounds) with a 6" barrel and paid about $100 more then the price you mentioned. If the gun is in perfect condition price could be fair, but no bargain. BTW the 686 is a great revolver.
