I saw a very nice S&W Model 625-4 Model of 1989 for sale today for $450. I am seriously thinking of buying it. Can 45 Auto-rim ammo be shot in it, or must only 45 acp be used utilizing the moon clips? Thanks for any replies.

There are no markings with the model number on the yoke. The box is marked 45, B,4 S. I believe it is one of the last run. Serial number is C8836xx. Sorry, I didn't make any photos of the box.
I've had this Model 45 in .22 caliber on lay-away. Finally got it home today and wanted to share a few pictures. The other .22 is a Colt Cobra that followed it home.

I like the model 65. It is stainless, 357 caliber with fixed sights and a heavy barrel. The 686 is another great choice as well as the M28. However, as mentioned already the M28 doesn't come in stainless.
