Only 5 shots has bothered me not at all.

If possible to fit into the 5 shot cylinder a 45 Colt would be of interest to me but that is likely pushing to far.

An L frame 41 is certainly doable. The question is would there be enough demand to make it happen. IMO the best chance for this to occur would be from wholesalers like Lipsey's or the TALO group. The 41 fans are a small but dedicated group. Who knows it might happen.

I have had 2 surgeries on each knee and am mostly pain free. Losing a lot of weight helped more than anything. In the 20 plus years since the first surgery the options for repairs have improved a lot. Hopefully I will not require any more work.

I had Diamond Pro's on my 69 but they cracked around the top of the backstrap. They do soak up recoil well. I have other Pach's on it now and they are not so good. For me wood just bite to hard and aggravate an old hand injury.
