thats the part I am having trouble with. I cant even dissassemble it because the recoil spring is pushing out the front making the slide not able lock into place to pull the yellow/green rod down

Hello everyone! I'm having an issue reassembling my m&P shield 9; When I put everything back together after greasing it, the recoil spring ends up shooting out in front of gun. I'm unable to lock the slide back now and can't seem to get dissemble it again. I tried pulling back to my fingers...
