light load for shield 40
I load lead 180 gr RNFP with 4.3 gr of 231/hp38 thay are mild and damn accurate, I also load 180 JHP and 165 Rn JFP with 5.0 gr of the same powder with good results. Hope that helps.- uko7

Shield 40 Mishap
I agree. I have been reloading for my shield for a it now and very good results with both 180gr JHP and lead RN flat points. Now if they only made an extended safety release like on my 1911. It is a great carry concealed carry gun.- uko7

Getting ready to start reloading
I agree, start with a RCBS rock crusher and work up to it. Dillon is not a cheap date, you have to use ONLY their parts.
