What model 32 Long

Looks like the consensus is no official model number manufactured 1917-1942. I'll make the notes on my inventory and hopefully my heirs will appreciate it like I do. I'm 67. I choose the carry caliber according to how I'm dressed and how well it needs to be concealed (.380-.45). Otherwise I...

    What model 32 Long

The collectible value of the ammunition did cross my mind, I’ll look into it. There was 49 rounds all in very good condition but no original packaging. I have no interest in shooting this gun just getting some information. I primarily shoot 45ACP, 9mm and 38 once now and then. It’s more...

    What model 32 Long

That would explain what appears to be solder on the right side of the barrel. It is very smooth but does obscure most the stamping on the barrel.

    What model 32 Long

There is a trademark stamp on the left side and no markings on the right. Barrel length measured from the front of the cylinder is 2.5 inches, from the front of the frame is 1 7/8 inches. The serial number under the barrel matches the butt sn. There is no appearance of the barrel being...

    What model 32 Long

I have a S&W 32 Long I can't find a model number for. It belonged to my father and I believe it originally belonged to my grandmother. I cleaned it up and put it in the safe when he passed a few years ago and now I've gotten around to try and find some information on it. Information: SN 350645...

Sheet rock interior walls and overpenetration...

A normal sheetrock covered wall is considered concealment not cover. There may come a time when you will have to take advantage of that fact. There have been many urban fire fights through walls and floors.

    Model 29-2 Presentation Box

[/IMG] Joe Cebul refinished my presentation box, got it back today. Could not be happier with his work, thank you very much.

    What did you reload today?

The last couple afternoons it was 1100 45ACP coated 200gr SWC and 850 9mm coated 125gr RN. Under normal conditions I'll shoot 150-200 weekly but for now I'll follow the rules, stay home and reload. My Dillon 550 makes it easy, 12-15 minutes per 100. The only part I dislike is filling the...

Are you willing to spend $50,000 to defend your life?

It does, I have the USCCA Platinum also. Well worth the money. US Law Shield is cheaper but coverage is not even close.

Your Spanish S&W copies - let's see 'em!

Thank you for the link. With the exception of caliber that is exactly the gun I have. Proof marks date it very well which was primarily what I was looking for. I'm not interested in selling it but want to find a general value for my personal documentation.

    Questionable quality S&W

You mentioned S&W product quality during the 70/80s, that was across the board during that time. Compare Harley Davidson/AMF then and now, no comparison.

Your Spanish S&W copies - let's see 'em!

I was glad to find this thread and maybe someone can identify this gun. It looks like a S&W Model 10 M&P but is stamped Made in Spain on the right and 3 3s where you would expect a trademark. It has a 5 inch tapered barrel. I inherited this from my Dad. Here's some pictures. Thanks.
