    Pre Model 36 ?

I believe I have a pre model 36. It has no model number on it. I BELIEVE it is a "Chief's Special". It has adjustable sights, 2" barrel. Serial number is: 149934. Can anyone advise when it was built, and what it might be worth ? Thanks.

    Assistance in I.D. of Revolver

I have had a S&W (I believe a Chief's Special) small, .38 , two inch barrel, WITH ADJUSTABLE SIGHTS. Can anyone advise the model number and estimated value. Someone told me it was a model 50, but I cannot find information on that model to check. Thanks.
