I did the same. Installed the Apex sear in my 9mm Shield, and it made w told of difference in the trigger experience. I paid less than $45 for the sear and consider it a must-do upgrade

Same experience here. Flash is a non-issue, even shooting the Liberty Ammo (50 grains at 2000 FPS). I have a some slow mo video where one can see some wild looking flash shooting that ammo, but from the shooter's perspective it was a non-issue.
