Hi
I did that to my MP40 and what worked for me was to push back on the slide and rotate the lever down at the same time. I placed it muzzle down on a mouse pad, pushed down slightly holding the grip with one hand and rotated the lever down with the other. Everything moved as it should and I...
Congrats on your new addition! I recently found a 5904 for a song & dance and could not be happier about it. Enjoy yours and have fun. Nice to see some more blued examples out there getting used & enjoyed.
Thanks yeti!
I could not believe how nice it was when I got it in my hands. It looks like it is in new condition with zero wear in the normal areas. The 3rd generation bug has bit me hard, this is the second one I bought since joining S & W F.!

Congrats! The 3913 is a wonderful 9mm, you & the wife should be really happy with it. I had been searching for a long time for a nice one myself and finally got it a few moths ago. It shoots like a champ and is great to carry CCW. I use a Desantis Sof-Tuck which is nice for the money. Enjoy...
To address the triggers, I have owned both the Glock 22 & 23, which overall were fine handguns and currently have an M&P 40 std. size (no HK's). The Glocks in my opinion have the edge in the trigger department, with a smoother pull and a short crisp reset. Stock triggers go to the Glock...
I am sure there is a market for it, but "not my cup of tea." I may land on the "Elmer Fudd" side of classic looking 45's. I do however like the undercut below the trigger guard. :D
Glad to hear you have extended the run time of your 41 with Mobil 1. I have also used Mobil 1 with great results in my AR's and my 70 yr old father was thrilled to see it make a difference, in his Mitchell Military 22lr target pistol. I have also had great results with Royal Purple Syn. oil...
