    Value in 20 Years - Model 15-8 or 36-6 ?

    I have a 15-4 that I bought new in 1982. It's a 2 inch that is unfired! I don't know what it's worth? But I'm not planning on selling it. I was offered $500 for it and I passed!

    I just received an answer from S&W on my revolver. It was manufactured in 1982 and they don't recommend using +P. I find that strange as the revolver is built like a "Tank"? I usually don't use +P ammo in any of my guns, so it's a non-issue with me!

    I just recently picked up a like new Model 15-4. No box, or paperwork. I'm sure that it's rated for +P, but I can't find anything for sure. There is a long story associated with this gun, but too long to post here. Let's just say that a "Prodigal" son came back home after at least 30 years...

    Shield 9 Mag Release Button Problem

    I had a gun that had a plastic mag release button. It riding on the metal mag was not good at all. The mag cut a groove in the plastic causing the mag to drop out when fired! I replaced it with a metal one. Problem solved!

    It's no one's business what I paid, whether I paid cash or credit card, and how much I make! Just like if a Doctor asked me if I have a firearm in the house!!!

    On some guns you damage the extractor. It can be done on some. The Beretta 92 comes to mind. I'm sure that there are others???

    Now I wonder what the difference between S&W 22's and Rugers? I have a Ruger LCR22 and Ruger said the it's OK to dry fire???

    What is a good alternative to the Shield?

    I ended up getting a Kahr CM9. Great shooter, very reliable, and conceals very easily!!! I'm happy. Maybe next year if I run into a deal, I may look at a Shield???

    I finally found a 9mm shield today

    I found one last tuesday at a shooting range & store, but I passed on it. I was there to break in my new Kahr CM9 that I just bought from another store because I'd given up on finding a Shield this year. My Wife said I should have bought it anyway! Sometimes life isn't fair....
