I have been cutting back as I age, so I don't have as many as I once did. I'd have a hard time choosing between the following 2. One might think obvious choice would be the 6" Model 952, but I have a lot of history with the 586.

I just bought brass rods of various sizes and cut them to the desired lengths. I haven't needed one in over 35 years but keep them in the range bag just in case someone else does. I never felt the need to have a perfect fit in the bore.

My Seneca Green Nylon-66 was made in 12/1959 and I received it on my 8th birthday in 2/1960. I still have it, although it was somewhat neglected by my brother while I was away in the Army. Best .22 semi-auto made? I dunno about that, but mine is certainly my favorite.

Thanks for the heads up on these. I ordered a couple, even though I have an extra OEM extractor or two on hand.

Sig Sauer P238 (.380) on me now, H&K P30L 9mm nearby, and my trusty S&W 586 in the night stand in MBR.

Interesting thread here. I shoot .40s (among many others) but never tried the .357Sig...actually, I never gave the cartridge much thought or consideration. I enjoyed reading the various opinions posted here; Very interesting, thanks.
