Well work got in the way and I wasn't able to get my 442 until today, wil probably go monday and shoot it.

I am most likely picking up one of these tomorrow, leaning towards the 442, shop near me has them on sale. I carry a shield 9 now, but want the revolver to pocket carry and because I want, er need another firearm :-)

I'm with BUFF, my MIL was just fine, she passed away a few months ago and I do miss her. She was great. If I were you, I'd spend as much time out of the house as possible and make sure you reward yourself after the 14 days. Oh and your wife owes you a "favor" or 2 if you know what I mean ;-)...

OP, not sure what you mean by not easy to take down and reassemble? The shield 9 is the first gun I purchased, I just cleaned it 2 hrs ago, IMO it cannot be more easier to take down and clean. I have 600 rounds through it, no issues, love this gun and carry it often.

Another welcome from PA, was just at the range tonight and ran another 200 flawless rounds through my shield 9. Absolutely love the gun.

Same here. My LGS also has an indoor range, was there last night, packed. On the weekend you need to reserve ahead of time or you're not shooting...
