My wife uses a Ruger SR22 for SD. It's loaded with CCI Mini Mags. She has been trained to hold center mass and keep pulling the trigger until the threat stops. Thank God she has never had to deploy it in a deadly force situation, however I am confident in her ability to defend herself...
