Seems like the prices for S&W revolvers are all over the place. In the last two months I bought a 625-8 stainless 4" for 500 out the door and passed on a 25-5 4" Colt for 600 though having second thoughts about passing on that one. Both were used and from a dealer. I know NIB has a premium but...

So the one on GB at $1699 may be a little over priced?

Looked at same gun. Just did not seem like a good enough deal to jump on it.

Bought a 6 inch 10 shot last weekend at gun show. $600 plus tax. At least 4 dealers had then at show. Not hard to find and prices coming down.

Title says it all.

Found a 625-8 4" at the gun show today. Gun is in very nice shape. Hammer had been bobbed for some reason unknown to me. Trigger action is very smooth. Doesn't appear to have been fired much. Dealer accepted $500 OTD for it. I am a happy camper today.
