    Almost shot a local cop!

I assume that you are talking about me. I 'lol' because while yes, it was a dire circumstance, everything worked out the way it should have. Even the LEO's were laughing and joking about the whole thing. I was 'lol' about them having body armor and me being in my boxers. Relax

    Almost shot a local cop!

That's EXACTLY why I didn't put my gun away fully. But, a criminal probably wouldn't turn on my lights and chat up each other in the hallway either.

    Almost shot a local cop!

I'm sure it would be me. But, had they not announced themselves, it would have been justified. Although, I am aware that it would not go down like that in court. On another note, I would have also lost the gunfight, as they had body armor and I was in my boxers lol

You just never know how your going to react in a situation like that. I have to admit that I was shaking a little afterward.

    Almost shot a local cop!

Thanks. I agree with you. I'm just glad that they made their presence known. Otherwise, it would have been a very bad day for all parties involved.

    Almost shot a local cop!

So, when my wife and I had just moved to OK, we were renting a townhouse/apartment. It was two flights of stairs just to get to our bedroom and at the very bottom, there was this cheapy alarm system. Well, one day around 6am, I awoke to voices in the hallway and the hall light was on. Knowing...

    Painting 15-22

Duracoat is more expensive, but it is also made for firearms and will last longer. So, I think you made the right choice. Good luck and post pics when your done.

    Painting 15-22

Thanks Unit505. I'm not a real big fan of digi either, but i thought it would look good and I'd never painted digi, so I gave it a try. I use duracoat for my customers though. IMO it is more reliable and even easier to use than a spray can.

    Painting 15-22

Just a little word of advice on the painting of your firearms. If you use Krylon, keep in mind that it will only hold up to about 120 degrees F. So, if you will be shooting a lot of rounds through your rifle at one time, don't be shocked if it starts to melt away. I used the Krylon Camo spray...

    M&P picture thread.

My M&P .40c with digicam and reduced trigger weight. Did the camo myself. I know it's not perfect, but I like it.

    New M&P 40c and Bodyguard 380

My new M&P .40c that I digicam'd. I had a FS 9mm, but traded for the .40c for more power and concealability.

Is the M&P carried by the military?

Mack is correct on the current sidearm of the US Military. However, the US Army is currently looking into replacing the M9 due to various reasons, small caliber, safety on slide, no mod rail, etc. According to the ArmyTimes, the following are being consider as a replacement: Glock 22 .40 cal...
