Well, I guess I need to introduce myself, My name is Jennifer, as of right now, I do not own a weapon, however, I am trying to figure out what I want, and what will work the best for me.
I currently work in EMS/Fire however, I am defecting to the blue side. I am just following in my Dad's footsteps he retired as a Lt. I moved across the country (California native) to Alabama 3 years ago after my divorce. I needed a fresh start where I knew no one, I just needed to get away from my ex. I am the proud Mom of 3 kids, my oldest, is an Active Duty US Marine, and SHE rocks my world! My youngest is still in High School and lives at home.
An ex boyfriend, a Lt, with a local Police Department sold me on why I should carry a S & W a while ago.
In just the day I have been here I have gained a lot of information, I love the Posts, about people who ask for advice and do the opposite, no you all are not ranting, personally, I am taking it to heart. It has opened my eyes, and thank you for posting about it. I have gotten some good advice from a couple of you, and I know I have made a few of you smile, with some of my responses... I am a strait shooter, and I shoot from the hip... Yes, I am a girl... I am the one who walks into the bay at work, in my 511's and a white tee shirt, with the hot pink Victoria Secret bra, why... cause I work in a male dominated field, and I don't ever want to forget I am a woman....
