Hi, I’m a new member. This is my first post. Thank you for your help. i’ve had this pistol for three years, but have not used it in about two years since I’ve started using it again, it’s been cleaned oiled and everything looks good, every time I take a shot I have to rack it and an fired cartridge comes out and then it’s ready to shoot again very frustrating out of eight rounds only four get shot. Any suggestions?ps it shot PERFECTLY before.

we need more info, did you only use one kind of ammo, what brand, grain ect. did anyone else shoot this gun?
did you try different mags or only use one?
Are you saying it ejects the fired round and chambers the next round? if so did you check to see if it went in battery, meaning the slide is 100% forward.
Are you sure there was no limp wristing?
I would start by having someone else shoot it, try different ammo, if that don't work try a new recoil spring.

If I read the original post correctly, it seems like since the clean/lube (which I assume included stripping and reassembly), the slide is cycling okay to the point that it extracts, ejects, and feeds a new round from the mag, but is either not returning completely to battery, or is failing to reset the trigger and/or striker.
