Gun cleaning Lubricant?
I usually think of cleaning and lubing as two separate operations.
Many great cleaners are lousy lubricants and vice versa.

You guys really need to try Corrosion-X. It will really work on rust, and is some of the slickest.......stuff I have ever seen.
GREAT product.

Also- For lubrication, see if molybdenum disulphide is readily available in powdered form. It is an ugly gray/black powder that might be the slickest thing known to man. You can use it on guns, AND progressive reloading equipment parts like primer slides and powder slides to keep them from jamming/seizing/galling.
People call it 'moly'.
TRULY amazing stuff.
The reason I don't know about availability is because I bought a lifetime supply 25 years ago when it was very hard to find.
Google it and read up on it.

Kroil. The oil that creeps. It works as a fair-to-middling solvent too. I used and liked Break-Free for years, but prefer Kroil.

Corrosion-X

Corrosion-X is my favorite for an one-kind-does-all. I started using it around 2000. The guns I treated with it have never rusted to this day. I found the best method was to strip all the old lubricant and crud off with something strong, like automotive carburetor or brake solvent. Then spray with Corrosion-X and allow to set over night. Then, wipe off any excess and, if, you must, another squirt in the slide grooves of your 1911 or Hi-Power. Has never failed me. I use it on my shotguns, rifles, handguns, and fishing reels. A gun treated with Corrosion-X is much easier to clean after shooting. Usually a brush and wipe will get it
clean. Then, maybe a drop or two of Corrosion X on the friction points. The stuff now comes in smaller containers, specifically for gun use, but as far as I can tell, it is the same as that packaged in red spray cans.

Another fan of Corrosion-X

Here's another vote for Corrosion-X.
I've also been using it for about 8 years; GREAT stuff.

I also use TW-25B grease on my semi-autos.

If we are talking combo cleaning AND lube then I vote for Breakfree CLP.
For best protection from rust Eezox is amazing. Number #1 for Seecamp owners.

No one mention Ballistol (Sportsmans Oil) good stuff and has no hazardous ingredients. Forget the hype ad. It is Mineral oil with some other stuff. Midway, Midsouth etc, all sell it. Safe on wood plastic, leather your hands.
Not great for really heavy lead or copper fouling but for general use it is great stuff.

I've been trying various cleaner/lubes for the past few years. Haven't found anything noticeably superior.

Reading corrosion resistance reviews led me to start using Eezox. Just got it last week, so obviously no conclusions yet. Ask again in two or three years... :D

Use it as a final coating after cleaning with whatever. Try to wear gloves as it has a very potent solvent in it, please very hard to wash the small off your hands. If you do practice unprotected cleaning:D Use rubbing alcohol first and then dish soap to get the smell off your hands.

Great product. I ran my own test here in Fl using Saltwater and outside corrosion on common nails. It does really work against corrosion. CLP works as well.

Think moly would have a discernable effect on a bolt action rifle? The slickest bolts I've noticed were on some of the old C.O.C Mausers and I'd sure like to duplicate that feel.

I agree with Lee's point and, for serious rust or lead removal and lubrication, I go with two separate products. But for routine cleaning and wiping down I've had success with Rusteprufe Nirtro-Solvent & Rust Preventing Oil. I've used it for probably 20 years but it has been around since 1938.
