“All the while you try to get back what’s been took, more’s going out the door. Some point you got to get a tourniquet on it.”
Ellis, “No Country for Old Men”.
One of my favorite movies. Joe
The fight scene between Zoe Saldana and the bad guy in Columbiana. I have never seen anything that beats that one, not even any of the martial arts guys like Van Damme or Segal. It is worth watching a mediocre movie just to watch that fight.
Major League - When Pedro Cerrano parks a home run in the seats and comes out of the dugout for a curtain call. Couldn't show it because of the language and shortness of the film clip.
It is a great quote but delivered by a rabidly anti-gun actor who has made a fortune off of films containing gun violence. Webster's dictionary should have his picture next to the word "hypocrite".
The bit of business in that movie that I have always considered the best. James Bond is talking with Charlie McCarthy's sister. He's explaining to her about how when an Arab boy reaches an age where he is considered a man he is given a rifle and he always has that rifle with him.
And then he says, "What sort of rifle does your President Roosevelt have?"
And Charlie's sister says, "He uses a Winchester!"
