I always love these 10mm threads!

Here's a few not-so-common 10mms.

Bren Ten Standard Model with smooth Herret grips (next to a S&W 1006).

Olympic Arms 10mm mated to a CNC AR45 lower.

T/C Contender with 14", 10" and 6.5" barrels.

Do you occasionally shoot your Bren Ten? I am so jealous.

I had a 1006 for the last 2 years I lived in Canada, half of 1989 through the first
half of 1991. I really liked it. I was impressed with it's power. I remember loading
a 200 grain JSP using 2400 powder up to 1,200 fps. It was a real thumper, although
I do not remember the exact charge and my chrony book with that load jotted down
in it is still back at my sister's house if she hasn't thrown it out in the last 22 years.

Anyway. I am so jealous.

I don't own one but have always wanted a 10mm. I was really hoping the new rendition of the Bren would make it but it doesn't seem so.

I have an older Colt Delta that sees occasional use. I also have a Glock 21SF that takes a 10mm barrel. I had heard some time ago that it might be possible to convert the .45ACP Glock to 10mm. Some agreed, some didn't. Many seemed to think that extraction would be "iffy" because of the larger case head on the .45. Anyway, I ordered a 10mm barrel and a couple of mags from Lone Wolf Dist., plugged them into the Glock with no other changes, and it works like a charm! I've probably put a thousand or so rounds through it so far - handloads, light Federals, heavy Double Tap, etc., and I've not had a single malfunction. Accuracy is better than with the factory .45 barrel and, since the 10mm barrel is conventionally rifled, I can also shoot lead. I still carry the .45 most of the time, but the 10mm barrel goes in when I'm headed to the mountains.

I knew I forgot something; last year I bought an Olympic Arms 10mm AR upper. It is a straight blowback design and mated with a DPMS AR A2 lower it is a blast to shoot. The only drawback are the 19 round plastic magazines:
