686 stainless....Date?

Hello Gentlemen.
I just aquired a 686 (no dash, but stamped "M")....357 mag.
I would love one of you Men to date it for me...I understand some of you have a catalog that I have no access to.

Welcome. If you look at the bottom of the grip frame there is a serial number consisting of letters and numbers. If you give us the serial number and X out the last 2 or 3 numbers someone here should be able to give you the date.
