Hello all this is a kind of question I am not sure where to put it. But here go's I have a 1967 model 41 along the way I picked up a EWK Arms Model 41 Bully Steel Challenge Barrel, Compensated "Generation 2" While cleaning it I found out the compensator unscrews from the barrel. Is there a sound suppressor that will screw on to this barrel? Please keep in mind I know nothing about them I live in Pa. USA and don't know if I can even own one in this state. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.. Scott

Normal threads are 1/2 x 28. Most manufactures will do you a custom thread if its different from the norm. depth is .4" on most of these "standard" suppressors.

Thanks much for the information guy's. It's great to know I can own one here in Pa. But Federal paper work $200.00 fee, a good suppressor $600.00 or foam ear plugs $.25 and good headset $35.00. I know the road I need to take. But it's nice to know if I ever win the lottery this would be the 3rd thing on the list.

You can pick up a good .22 can for $250.00 by the way. It would be some of the best money you've spent on a firearm related purchase.

Sorry its taken me so long to reply. I just became a first time home owner! So its paint time before the move and another 1000 things before the "BIG" move. Anyway, where can I get a can for my Smith & Wesson model 41for $250.00?? I have a EWK arms barrel with the screw on muzzle brake so I would think a can would screw onto the same stud. Thanks much Scott
